Caroline S Choir performs

On board Caroline S, Havneparken 11:00 – 15:00 Free

35 men will sing sailors’ and pirates’ songs from the deck of the Caroline S—twice on Saturday, at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

About the event

The Caroline S Choir takes to the deck and sings—twice on Saturday. Thirty-five men in matching uniforms perform sailors’ and pirates’ songs right from the ship’s deck in Havneparken—once at 11 a.m. and again at 2:30 p.m. It is one of Saturday’s most atmospheric moments.

The choir’s repertoire ranges from old Danish sailor songs (“The Sun Is So Red, Mother,” “When I See a Red Flag Flying”) to well-known dockworker songs and quirky pirate ballads. Listen first, and sing along to the songs you know—or just enjoy the acoustics under the open sky of the harbor. This is choral music as it should be: voices that lift the spirit, a community that resonates.
